I don't know if you know this already, but I belong to the epic and all mighty ALD studio ! If you know Lithuanian you can read about it all here in my best friends blog. To all the others ( or rather no one)  the ALD studio is a film production studio made up of friends that use their summers to make movies. Yup and these are my sketches for the new summer film that we are making. Not really professional but I'm trying to do my best here.

Moulin des nonnes

I came back a week a go from my trip to France. Just with all the school stuff that overwhelmed me, I hadn't had a minute of freedom to post these Polaroid pics I made of the "nuns". Sorta creepy, but fascinating as well.... The women we met said that the place she lived in used to be a mill that belonged to some nuns therefore she decided to set up these...sculptures(?) of nuns all around it. 

Anyway since I have holidays this week I will try to post some more stuff

Sewing

 

My new master piece! I'm actually starting to learn how to sew and it turned out that its not THAT hard... although... the book said that I would only take an hour to make the skirt. It took me six hours, but here is the result of hard consistent work and I love it even if I cant ware it now (because it will hang on my wall) it will be a remainder that I can do anything if I try hard enough.

Winter fruits

Mmmm...I feel like some one smashed my brain. I feel like all the energy and creativity have left my body. I don't get it why its just so damn hard for me to DRAW. I love drawing, but sometimes I just feel that Ideas look way better in my head than in real life. Great,  I want to be an artist, but I'm too lazy to draw or think. Plus my work is rubbish, why  even bother then? I don't know maybe there is just this tiny little spark of hope that I'm not completely talentless! ha! Hope always dies last, well in that case I will be spending my life doing nothing else than garbage, oh well guess I will just have to deal with that. Great, now that this is out of my way lets talk about the pictures. 

More or less I had this post idea that I just couldn't  really rap up since last week.  It was freezing cold in Lithuania and we drove to the country side to visit my grandmother. That's what turned out of some old decoration I found and a tree in my grannies apple garden. Hope you like it and I'm looking forward to the day that my creative juices return or I shall end in a flat with a bunch of cats that I'm allergic to. And die. from an allergic reaction. And my corpses eyes will be big and red and puffy and...ok ! I'm stopping right now.

Comparing walls

I have been to the Fluxus exhibition (again) because my other friend really really really wanted to see it, but she didn't want to go alone there. So helpful as I am I just went along. I didn't  really expect to see something new, but there I stood in front of a wall which was once blank that had all sorts of stuff attached to it. Apparently I had missed a sign before that said:

And just then I got that strong feeling of deja vu because it seemed that I had seen such a wall before not a long time ago at my home!

Celebrating independence day

 Recently I have been looking through some of my polaroid pictures and I thought that I could actually post some of them here. They look sort of older then they really are. I own my polaroid camera for maybe 3 or 4 years and I really like taking pictures with it since you never know what will come out.
